SHAYNE (GUINNESS) CAMERON

After completing her training Shayne worked professionally in musicals, pantomime, touring plays, voice over work for radio and educational broadcasting, T.V. and cabaret.
Starting work with Stageworld in 1982 teaching ballet, tap modern and acrobatic styles of dance. She then went on to create the Tick Tock Theatre Company and The Shayne Guinness Stage School running the school for sixteen years until meeting her husband Matthew and moving to Scotland.
Since then a new “Scottish” Shayne Guinness Stage School emerged in Moray until a devastating house fire in 2005 which destroyed all the costumes and equipment for the shows. Taking a break from teaching to rebuild the house and costume collection until 2009. Having moved to Inverness due to policeman husband Matthews` posting Shayne has seen the need to branch out away from Inverness ensuring the children of the Highlands get the chance to experience the thrill and excitement of performing live on stage.
NAOMI DUNBAR
Has risen through the ranks of Shayne Guinness Stage School and Highland Youth Theatre.Yes she was a tree one year and has been the back end of the horse! She went on to play the Wicked Queen in Snow White, Grace Farrell in Annie, Ugly Sister in Cinderella to mention but a few.
Naomi has an HNC in acting and performing.
She has worked with the National Theatre of Scotland community project, Most notably playing Mercy Lewis in the Crucible.
Naomi has just come back from Greece working for Thomas Cook as a children’s entertainer.
GILLIAN CLARKE
Another ex pupil who is currently studying drama music and dance at Glasgow University she will be joining us for our Summer Theatre School projects. We hope to offer her a full time position when she completes her degree.
